Fortress Bridge

Urban plan for Copenhagen.
Fortresses that surrounded Copenhagen have been opened as out-dated function after 1850, but the river that cuts through the middle of the city still divides the functions of the city. The current number of bridges cannot alleviate traffic congestion, thus the proposal is to create a bridge city with a composition of commercial facilities, collective housing, and public facilities. Its shape follows the arc of the former fortress at the park in the north of the city.
