It’s a photographic collection of the Inagawa Cemetery located in Hyogo, Inagawa, which photographer Risaku Suzuki spent a year visiting to capture. The architect behind the chapel and resting pavilion is David Chipperfield, who received the Pritzker Prize in 2023. In tackling the design of the cemetery, he visited Japan, engaging in dialogues with the client, ultimately creating a place of prayer that transcends religion and race, fostering shared understanding. The book comprises 80 pages of architectural photographs, essays by Chipperfield, and accompanying drawings.
