KEY OPERATION INC. is looking for design staff (experienced, full-time employees).

Our company has been in business for 19 years.
Our goal has always been to create beautiful architecture by carefully examining and analyzing our clients’ requirements and finding new architectural solutions. We hope to use architecture to improve the economies of cities and regions, foster culture, and address social and environmental issues.

The president, Hikaru Koyama, gained practical experience at architectural design firms in the UK, such as David Chipperfield Architects. For the first 10 years of his career, he mainly worked on project management for overseas brands, but since then, the percentage of architectural design work has increased, and he has worked on a diverse range of projects from residential housing, condominiums, rental housing complexes, tenant buildings, restaurants, movie theaters, and office buildings to cemeteries and train station buildings. The company’s careful pursuit of the business potential required for commercial facilities and housing complexes, while achieving a high level of design quality, has been highly evaluated by clients and has led to the acquisition of new properties.

We are looking for designers who have gained experience at design offices or design departments of general contractors. We are often asked to work on projects that are large for an atelier office, such as small to medium-sized housing complexes, commercial tenant buildings, office buildings, etc., and small for an organized office, and we are looking for people who want to work on smaller projects with a smaller number of people before becoming independent from an organized office or general contractor’s design department, or people who have worked for an atelier office but want to work on smaller projects with a smaller number of people before becoming independent. We believe that this is a good environment for those who are working for an atelier firm and want to gain experience in designing and supervising not only small residential projects but also larger projects. After becoming independent, you can still be involved in our projects as a support member until your work becomes more stable.

We are also looking for people who have left design work after marriage or childbirth, but would like to return to design-related work. You can also become involved as a support member of our projects. We have not only young members but also many staff members with children, and some former employees have returned to work and are now working part-time.

We are also looking for graduates and new graduates at the same time. We are looking for graduates and new graduates at the same time.

At our company, you can acquire a variety of skills on-the-job in a short period of time. If you have experience with 3D software, you can learn basic operations in about one month. We also receive orders for management of overseas brands on an ongoing basis, so it is possible to develop language skills.
In addition, we believe that by working on design work with business potential in mind as well as architectural design, you will be able to acquire skills not only as a designer but also as a manager in the future.

The office is located in a building just a 3-minute walk from the station facing the Gakugei Daigaku shopping street, and there are many good restaurants nearby where you can enjoy a delicious lunch. The office is small in size with nine employees (six men and three women), and we aim to create a fulfilling work environment with a homey atmosphere and the freedom to make suggestions. Several former employees who have become independent also participate in projects as support members, and you can learn various architectural knowledge through discussions with our experienced members.

We are looking forward to working with anyone who has a passion for architectural design.
