A commercial building planned for the Yanaka Ginza shopping street, which is full of the atmosphere of old downtown Tokyo and is located between Nippori and Sendagi stations in Taito Ward, Tokyo.
In keeping with the shopping street, which is lined with unique shops selling prepared foods, sweets, and miscellaneous goods, the building is a six-storey structure with small shops of between 7 and 28 square metres stacked on top of each other. The eaves of the slabs on each floor are finished with wooden beams, creating a facade for the shopping street, and also serve to guide people to the approach space to the common hallway on each floor.
